Bowling Shirts
When it is time to replace our bowling shirts, a Uniform Committee is formed to evaluate options and select a new uniform shirt for Special Friends Bowling. The committee considers the needs and preferences of our bowlers when choosing the style and design. The cost of the new shirts is paid from a portion of the bowling fees collected from each bowler.
New bowlers can purchase their uniform shirt from Custom Apparel & Gifts, located in The Villages Southern Trace Plaza. The uniform shirts, shown below, are blue and white. The men’s polo shirt has a 3-button placket and the ladies polo shirt has a V-neck.
Please identify yourself to Custom Apparel & Gifts as a Special Friends bowler and ask them to embroider the Special Friends Bowling logo and your name on your shirt.
It is very important to wear your Special Friends Bowling uniform to promote team building, unity and spirit. But, most important is SAFETY because it allows coaches to easily identify any Special Friends bowler needing assistance or who has wandered off.
